Program Highlights
Learn the foundational postures (asanas) that form the basis of a safe and sustainable yoga practice. Develop awareness of healthy alignment, breath coordination, and mindfulness within movement. You’ll also explore basic pranayama (breathing techniques) and introductory meditation to quiet the mind and connect more deeply with your inner self.
Dive into the core texts and teachings of classical yoga, including the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali, the Eight Limbs of Yoga, and yogic lifestyle principles (yamas and niyamas). These sessions provide spiritual and ethical grounding, helping you reflect on how to live a more intentional and heart-centered life.
Understand the body from both a scientific and energetic lens. You’ll learn basic musculoskeletal anatomy, injury prevention, breath mechanics, and how the nervous system responds to yoga. These insights help support a safe personal practice and prepare you for more advanced study later on.
Explore the subtle energy system of the body, including the chakras, nadis, prana (life force), and how they relate to physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. You’ll learn how movement, breath, and awareness can unlock and balance these energy centers.
Upon completion, you’ll receive a 100-hour certificate from Ora Healing, which can be used as a standalone immersion or applied toward a 200-hour Yoga Alliance certification in the future. It marks the beginning of your official yoga education journey.
Each day includes guided asana, breathwork, meditation, and reflective journaling to help you embody the teachings. These practices are designed to ground, center, and deepen your connection to self.
